Stakeholder Manager Finance – Sustainable City (m/f/d)


The Technische Universität Berlin bundles its competences in the field of entrepreneurship from research, teaching and startup support in the Centre for Entrepreneurship.
With the project “Science&Startups – Sustainable City”, the Centre for Entrepreneurship, in cooperation with Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, supports founders who implement innovative and/or technology-based business ideas in teams. Funding is provided through the “Berlin Startups Scholarship” program, which can award up to 8,000 euros per team per month. Accompanying formats for networking the startups with companies and investors as well as qualification formats are offered. The project is funded by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Industry and the European Social Fund.

Your Tasks:


The Stakeholder Manager Finance is supporting the startups by connecting with potential investors. The tasks include:

  • Conceptual design, development and coordination of a strategic network on the topic of “Sustainable City” for academic startups and investors, including analysis and identification as well as acquisition and support of potential cooperation partners
  • Development and implementation of networking formats for startups from the field of Sustainable City and investors
  • Conceptual design and implementation of qualification measures for startups with a focus on follow-on financing
  • Public relations and specific marketing measures to promote the networking formats

What you bring:


  • successfully completed academic university studies (Master, Magister, Diplom or equivalent) in a suitable subject
  • several years of experience in organizing workshops and events and trade fair appearances, preferably agency experience
  • experience with networking and in acquisition and fundraising
  • relevant knowledge and professional experience in the field of innovation and start-up management (preferably at universities) and/or through start-up experience would be an advantage
  • ability to think in an interdisciplinary way and to act in a networked manner; flexibility and commitment
  • planning and organizational talent as well as a structured, careful way of working
  • high communicative, social competence and professional manners
  • very good knowledge of German and English
