In a world increasingly facing the challenges of sustainable development, the link between business and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is gaining importance. The workshop “Creating Sustainable Impact: Linking Business and the SDGs” offers you the opportunity to understand this link and identify concrete steps to promote positive impact in your business strategy.
Workshop objectives:
Recognise the SDGs: In the first hours of the workshop, you will learn about the Sustainable Development Development Goals (SDGs) – a set of 17 global goals that aim to achieve goals that aim to achieve sustainable development at the economic, social and environmental levels by 2030.
Linking SDGs to the business context: A fundamental step in promoting sustainable impact is to identifying ways in which your business model can be aligned with the SDGs. Dr. Kristina Fajga will guide you through this process and show you how the SDGs can impact your business.
Identify positive and negative impacts: Every business decision has an impact. In this workshop, you will learn how to identify these impacts – whether in the form of positive changes that contribute to achieving the SDGs or potentially negative impacts that need to be avoided or minimised.
Potential for business development: Sustainable practices can not only have a positive impact, but also create business opportunities. They will discuss how companies can harness their potential to innovate and enter new markets by focusing on meeting the SDGs.
Measurability of impact: How do you measure a company’s contribution to achieving the SDGs? This workshop will introduce you to tools and approaches that you can use to quantify the impact of your business practices on achieving the SDGs.
Creation of a set of SDGs and indicators: At the end of the workshop, you will be able to formulate a clear set of SDGs and associated indicators for your selected business area. These will help you to monitor and communicate the progress of your sustainable initiatives.
Target group: This workshop is aimed at founders/start-ups with a concrete start-up idea.
